Laure Elkrief (MD) is a clinical specialist in Hepatology. She is assistant professor at the University of Tours, and Tours University Hospitals (Tours, France) since 2019. She is a PhD student at the INSERM Unit 1149 (Paris Research Center on Inflammation), where she is working on the role of diabetes on refractory ascites in cirrhosis. She has a clinical expertise in the management of complications of cirrhosis, vascular liver diseases, and liver transplantation. Her research is focused on the management of patients with vascular liver diseases and the noninvasive diagnosis of portal hypertension.
